Still Life Assignment – What’s in my bag?

This week I had one other assignment – a still life for our Commercial/Industrial class. I decided to a What’s in my Bag photo!

I have to confess, I am a huge make up / fashion junkie. I also watch a ton of youtube videos on make up and style. Every now and then people post “What’s in my bag” videos to show what type of bag they are currently using, what make up products they carry on them 24/7, what other little accessories they have on them. Usually these are accompanied by links to a full review on each product.

I don’t have full reviews, nor am I motivated enough to post what each of these products are – however I do hope you enjoy the aesthetic of my image:)

Until next time,

Corrie

Edmonton Fashion Week 2011: Eccentric Embellishments

At the end of September a group of NAIT students volunteered to do some photography for Rebecca Pratt of Eccentric Embellishments, for Edmonton Fashion Week 2011! Take a look at the shots I took during our time with them.

Model Comp Card

For our Industrial/Commercial photography class we had a project to create a Model Comp Card. A comp card is a composite of the latest images of an actor/model along with their stats. I had the opportunity to shoot the gorgeous Michelle Belger.

Outdoor Portraiture and Flat Lighting

This week for my portraiture class we had to take some outdoor portraiture. My McBain Camera workmate Tim agreed to model for me! A huge thanks to Andrew for holding some flashes for me.

Later this week, Laura and I were in the studio learning about super flat lighting techniques.
